BRAIN INJURY SUPPORT "BIS" SPECIALIST
As a Brain Injury Specialist your role is to assist, maintain the participant’s home in a sanitary and safe condition.
BIS support the waiver participant/ client with:

Ensuring constant safety while promoting independence
- Assess, train, assist in every aspects either at home or in the community setting.
- Assist with self-care, medication management, money management, interpersonal skills
- Personal hygiene and dressing assistance.
- Create and maintain a healthy and professional friendship
- Scheduling, attending and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client.
- Organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment.

Pre-employment drug screen and CORI check.
Candidates should have one or two years of experience working with and/or providing assistance for individuals who live at home and have had one of the following: stroke, concussions, brain injury, TBI.
We appreciate a letter of recommendation from a person and/or employer.
Got to have own transportation & a valid driver’s license.
High-school and/or GED graduate
